The maximum number of people to be treated in one clinic is 20,000
There are about 1,488 clinics in Senegal, and if you include medium-sized health centers and smaller health huts, there are more than 4,200 medical institutions.
There are over 4,200 medical facilities in Senegal, ranging from small health huts to national hospitals. Among them, there are 1,488 clinics called health posts, many of which are located in unelectrified villages.
The people who work there are doctors and nurses. Many of them are single-handedly treating the residents of the surrounding villages, and the number of households in a few dozen kilometers of the surrounding villages is about 5,000 to 20,000 people in each of the clinics.
Most of Senegal is a Muslim country, and polygamous families are large. Even though it is a village, there are several families in the community and the number of people in the village is very large.
